Three Fluoride Free Toothpastes that your kids will love!

Fluoride Free Toothpaste

With evidence mounting on the harmful effects fluoride has on our body; competing with essential minerals, potentially causing dental problems (the very thing we thought it was helping), and affecting our fertility; it’s time to source alternatives to our Supermarket bought toothpaste.

I’m an advocate of natural, organic products. I’ve experienced first hand the difference in my health, and appearance when eliminating toxins from my environment. The thing about natural products, and I mean really natural!… ethical, sustainable, organic, absolutely no nasties hiding anywhere type of natural; is that they can be used on our kids. We don’t need to have something that is ok for us, but not ok for the little people. If our products are made from compounds from the earth, and not messed around with, then they’re perfectly safe for our children. In saying that, our kiddies can be a little fussy with taste, and we want them to clean their teeth every day, so having a toothpaste that they like makes our night times easier!

Here are some fabulous, tasty options for the little ones:

  1. Grants Cinnamon Zest Toothpaste
Grants of Australia offer a fantastic range of flavours. This cinnamon flavour has a hint of orange and includes certified organic Aloe, xylitol and neem oil to help prevent tooth decay and keep gums healthy.

  2. Weleda Children’s Tooth Gel
Oooo I’m a fan of this brand. The Children’s Tooth Gel has calendula flowers help keep the gums and oral cavity healthy, and flavoured with essential oils fennel and spearmint. Yum!

  3. Jack n Jill Toothpaste
If you really have a fussy bunny that wants toothpaste that tastes like fruit, then head to Jack n Jill. They have flavours like banana, blackcurrant, blueberry, raspberry and strawberry. PS – Look out for their perfect sized natural toothbrushes… My son loves his ‘Hippo Hippo’ toothbrush.

You can look out for Sodium Laurel Sulphate (SLS), sugar, synthetic fragrances, colours and preservatives… but if you opt for any of these brands above, you can be assured they have your back. Theses toothpastes are free from all of the no no’s, and use natural ingredients to offer your families teeth cleanliness and protection. Thank you thank you thank you.
